Hello! I am Jakob Rosin, from Sparrow Access
I am an accessibility expert and consultant. On one hand, this is due to personal experience, namely that I have been blind since birth, but also because of my desire to make the world as comfortable and inclusive for myself and other people with disabilities, as it is for those who do not have a disability or special needs.
I am a member of the “International Association of Accessibility Professionals” and hold the international “CPWA, Certified Professional in Web Accessibility” certificate.
Over the years, I have advised several public and private sector bodies on making their services and products accessible. Among my clients have been early-stage start-ups and large banks operating in the Nordic countries. I have advised both government agencies on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications, as well as large telecom companies on creating more accessible customer communication or public relations. I have worked on making several events accessible, the largest of which was The Estonian Song and Dance Festival with 300,000 spectators on-site. We provided an audio described TV broadcast and accessible experience for people with visual, hearing and mobility impairments attending the events in person.
Over the years, I have advised several public and private sector bodies on making their services and products accessible.
I have also worked on accessibility in physical environment, helped to make museums that are located in difficult-to-adapt heritage-protected buildings accessible to everyone, or helped to make urban space more friendly for everyone. I wish for people to be able to use services, visit places and gain new experiences without having to worry about whether they can do so. If this is also what you or your company would like, write to us at info@sparrowaccess.com and we’ll talk about how. Here you can read more about what Sparrow Access can offer you and your company.
